These animated collage pieces are digitally composed from pre-digital media including ads, film stills, posters, book and magazine covers from the 1940s-80s. Each animation is comprised of 3 stills that are thematically unified through the emphasis of a particular kanji: Key (鍵), Wall (壁), Wound (傷), & Splash (沫).
